Cape & Islands Cognitive Behavioral Institute is offering support groups located at 704 Main Street Falmouth.  For more information on any of these groups contact Cape CBI at 508-457-3160:

  • OCD Support Group – Open to individuals struggling with OCD and related disorders. Family and loved ones welcome. Professionally led by CBT experts.  Meets the 1st Thursday of every month from 7-8pm.
  • “Face Your Fears” – A treatment group for kids on Thursdays at 5pm.  This group helps children who suffer from OCD or specific phobias connect with other children who have similar fears.  Together, they will engage in exposures to tackle their fears and overcome their worries.  $75 for group session.  If not a current patient, they do require at least an initial consolation with one of our therapists to make sure the group is a good fit for all participants.
  • Teen Group – Professionally led by Dr. Pamela Fee with teens dealing with panic, tic disorders, phobias, OCD, self harm, social anxiety, body image/eating disorders.  This group teaches teens CBT and mindfulness skills for managing the above issues. $75 for group session.  If not a current patient, they do require at least an initial consolation with one of our therapists to make sure the group is a good fit for all participants. Meets every Thursday at 6pm.
  • Parent Support Group – Are  you concerned about your teen or young adult? Do you feel like you could help another parent out? Do you need advice or information regarding available resources? Do you need a little support?  This is a confidential group led by Dr. Kristen Mulcahy where parents can bring up issues they may be having with their child/children, seek advice from other parents, or offer their advice and support as a parent.  Free of charge meets the 1st Thursday of each month from 6-7pm.  For current clients.
  • Intrusive Thoughts Support Group – This professionally led free support group is for adults suffering with unwanted thoughts or images, including those of a violent or sexual nature. Meets 1st Monday of each month at 7pm. For current clients.
